Kelly Larson-Brunner, D.C.

Kelly Larson-Brunner, D.C.Hello, my name is Kelly Larson-Brunner, D.C. but around the office I am referred to as Dr. Kelly. I am originally from Maine, growing up in Dover-Foxcroft, and have lived in various other states, but I am very excited to raise my family in the Westbrook area.

I have always had an interest in biology and health and took those extra courses at Foxcroft Academy. I was very active in high school with sports such as field hockey and track, and extracurricular activities such as Jazz Band, Key Club, and National Honors Society. After graduating as Valedictorian, I continued my studies at Springfield College, MA, and graduated with a BS degree in Sports Biology. At that time I did not know what I wanted to do with my degree.

I never knew I wanted to be a chiropractor until a job-shadowing experience 2 years after graduating from Springfield College. I had always known that I wanted to have a career in the healthcare field, but for the longest time, I did not know where that passion would take me. The day I watched another chiropractor adjust a four year old girl, and I saw the energy return into that young face, was the day I knew which path I was to follow. Chiropractic removes the nerve interference within our bodies so that we can be healthy and function to the best of our ability. That simple concept is so powerful and so amazing that I knew I had to become part of it.

I attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City for 3 intense years of study. I was active in the community through the organization Beta Chi Rho and helped new students by participating in the Mentor Club. In addition to the regular courses, I took additional classes specifically for Pediatric Chiropractic. I truly believe that chiropractic care needs to begin at an early age in order to reduce the spinal stress that is seen in adults. The adjustments for infants and children are extremely gentle and the results are relatively more immediate than adults. I feel very honored when a parent hands me their child and asks me to check him/her for possible spinal misalignments.

As much as I love being in my office, I also love being in the community. I am a member of the Kiwanis Club of Westbrook, the advisor for the Key Club at Westbrook High School, and am part of the Chamber of Commerce. I am always willing to give presentations to any business or group because I enjoy educating others about their health and wellness.

I am married to a wonderful man, Matthew, and I have two beautiful children, Aria and Dominic. Don’t be surprised to see us around town, at sporting events, or at fundraising events as we love to support Westbrook activities. And if you do see us, please say hi.

Warren M. Lain, D.C.

Warren M. Lain, D.C.Warren M. Lain, D.C. was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma. Always a top student in his youth, he spent his free time running track and playing soccer and basketball. Upon graduation from High School, Dr. Lain was recruited to Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, CO where his family previously enjoyed many beautiful summer and winter vacations in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Dr. Lain's avid love for whitewater rafting led him to serve as a guide on the Arkansas and Taylor rivers while attending Western State Colorado University. Here, Dr. Lain learned the invaluable life resources of communication with, and education of his clients. Graduating with honors, he accomplished a B.A. in Biology, with a professional and environmental emphasis, and a minor in Chemistry in 1995. During his educational tenure at WSC, Dr. Lain distinguished himself as the recipient of a special administrative scholarship, three consecutive years, earning him coordination responsibilities of all undergraduate teaching assistants for the Biological Principles Department. In this capacity, he began to grasp the importance of human interactions and the benefit one gains by helping others.

The story of his Chiropractic discovery began after a crushing bike accident in 1994 which left Dr. Lain in sever neck, mid-back and shoulder pain as well as nearly daily intense headaches. After 2+ years, conventional allopathic medicine treatment he could still not resolve the pain. Prescription medications, physical therapy and all recommended avenues were unsuccessful until he went to a Chiropractor. Years of training to pursue a degree as a D.O. or M.D. were set aside after experiencing the practical benefits and results of Chiropractic care, which led him to pursue a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1998. Dr. Lain admits that he didn't expect the results of Chiropractic care and to this day is constantly amazed at the beneficial results that patients receive.

After meeting his wife Melissa and deciding to get married on the island of St. Lucia in 2003. Warren went on to Cleveland Chiropractic College of Kansas City. He received Dean's List honors each term and graduated Cum Laude.

In 2009, Dr. Lain was blessed to have a healthy son, Wake Alexander Lain, who continually exhibits the benefits of having a Chiropractor as a father. As our young bodies develop and endure life's traumas, Dr. Lain feels strongly that it is essential to include Chiropractic care at a young age in order to optimize and enhance adaptation to the challenges one experiences beginning with birth! Chiropractic care can help enhance a young child's immune system and aid in the elimination of ear infections, colds and poor sleep that can affect a number of children.

Since 2001, Dr. Lain has been the Co-owner of New England Chiropractic, a state of the art health care facility which utilizes the most current technology to enable the team to deliver the highest quality of health. In addition to treating patients and being involved with his practice, Dr. Lain has held numerous leadership roles in the Westbrook community. Some of his involvements include being a current member of the Maine Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, and International Chiropractic Association as well as on the leadership team of his local Business Network International Chapter. Dr. Lain is also an accredited lecturer for the State of Maine Radiology Technologist Association, and has given various presentations at professional organizations, seminars, conventions and even a boat christening ceremony!
