Jennifer Lannon

Clinical Chiropractic Assistant
Office Manager
Marketing & Promotions

I moved to Maine, from NH to go to college and loved the area. I’ve lived in downtown Portland for 5 years before moving to Westbrook. I love exploring Maine’s coast, and enjoy traveling, camping, canoeing, snorkeling, diving and anything involved with water! I was first a patient at NEC while I co-owned a custom designed stationary shop at the Eastland Park Hotel in Portland. As I was ending that business, NEC conveniently had an opening and asked me to be on their team.

I enjoy the patient relationships that I have and strive to make our office a warm, family atmosphere. I am excited to see that our practice is continually growing and evolving. I feel strongly that children greatly benefit from chiropractic care and I am striving to educate parents and help our practice grow to a strong pediatric office. I feel proud to be part of an office that cares so deeply for people. Not only do the doctors have so much passion for what they do, they also feel it is important to be the best. It is a wonderful feeling to see every day, so many patients getting results. Our office is a happy place because Chiropractic is changing people’s lives. I will continue to teach and educate about the benefits of chiropractic care and I hope that someday preventative medicine is the mainstream for healthcare.

Jody Taylor

Insurance & Billing

Hi, I'm Jody. When I first came to this office, I was a patient. I was working for myself as an administrative professional and was contemplating a career change in the field of healing arts when this opportunity presented itself. I started working here as part of your family wellness team in April and look forward to serving you.

I believe that everything happens for a reason and I am thankful for the opportunity to be here and use the skill set I have acquired to help in the insurance and billing aspects of the job, as well as being enrolled in the certified Chiropractic Assistant training program.

I must emphasize that as a health care provider, our relationship is with you and not your insurance company. Payment in full is required for your first visit at the time services are rendered, providing that you have supplied us with all necessary information and confirmation of chiropractic coverage. While the filing of insurance claims is a courtesy that we extend to our patients, all unpaid charges are your responsibility.

If you have any questions regarding your statement or benefit coverage, please stop by my office or call me and I will be glad to assist you.

Be well

Susan Hamilton

Licensed Massage Therapist

As long ago as 1990, I harbored a desire to learn to administer massage therapy. Working in the computer industry in 1987, a job transfer resulted in a move from my native New York to the Philadelphia suburbs, where I resided for 11 years. When the industry suffered numerous setbacks in the early 1990s, I joined Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals, working for several years on Phase I, II, and III clinical trials of a chemotherapeutic agent, in preparation for FDA approval.

In 1995 my dream to study therapeutic massage became a reality, when I graduated from the International Academy of Massage Science, a Susan B. Anthony University-accredited institute in Glen Riddle, PA. Under the tutelage of Nobel Prize-winning scientist Albert Schatz, Ph.D. and Karen Carlson, Hon.D., I studied Scientific Swedish Massage®, a holistic treatment addressing ones physical, psychological, and emotional well-being. Incorporating deep tissue, trigger point, and neuromuscular modalities, along with traditional swedish massage, each treatment is customized to meet specific needs of the recipient.

Professionally certified in Scientific Swedish Massage® and Holistic Healing, and licensed by the State of Maine, I continue to earn advanced education credits, and am committed to working with patients in an educational partnership to support their goal of wholesome well-being. Therapeutic massage combined with chiropractic care provides an excellent opportunity to achieve this.

As a resident of the beautiful state of Maine since 1999, it’s impossible to imagine being landlocked ever again! Whenever possible, I enjoy traveling with my fiancé, Peter, but am always happy to be back in my South Portland home.

Nicky Ouellette

Licensed Massage Therapist

Hi, my name is Nicky Ouellette. I’m originally from Frenchville, ME (and yes I do speak French), which is right on the Canadian border of Northern Maine, otherwise known as “The County.” I relocated to Portland about a year ago to pursue my massage therapy license. I attained my license from Spa Tech Institute. I am a huge sports buff which is the reason why I decided to pursue a career in therapeutic massage therapy. Medical/sports massage is where my passion lies. I believe that chiropractic care along with some deep tissue or neuromuscular massage therapy can do wonders for an athlete’s body as far as treating and preventing injuries and improving overall performance. So any athletes out there-from you semi-professionals to weekend touch footballers, come on into the office and we would love to work with you!
